It’s unlikely you can push them beyond their limits. If I estimate, they might reach around 2800. That makes choosing 3600 even more advantageous.

Yes, a faster RAM will benefit both the CPU equally. Slower RAM won’t improve performance as much.

You'll find it tough to get any overclocking benefits with these units. Most of them come with low-end memory chips. Still, the 3600 remains the better option. The 2700X won't offer a speed boost since its memory is slower.
