Hello, I'm working with a 5900x board on Dark Hero. I'm using PBO with the curve optimizer and those specific parameters. My EK AIO 360 is a new unit, and temperatures aren't where they should be—sometimes they spike above 70°C even when temps are around 50-55 during similar games. On God of War at 3840x2160, I see stable performance with 80/100 FPS, 25c in ambient, 65-73°C on CPU, and 70°C on RTX 3090. The temperature at junction is within normal range. Regarding your questions: the current settings seem to be holding up, but you're wondering if tweaking things would help. For the curve optimizer, reducing by -0.1125 might bring stability and cooler temps. It's worth testing a few adjustments. CPU temperatures are within normal ranges. I cool the 5900X using air (Scythe Mugen 5 with six 120mm fans) and it stays between 38°C and 42°C idle, moderately heats up at 57°C to 65°C, and reaches its highest around 70°C to 72°C during heavier tasks. A half-hour of Cinebench R23 peaks at 87°C when PBO is on, 76°C without it. I've recorded 90°C or higher occasionally, but only briefly. AMD claims the 5800X, 5900X, and 5950X can handle up to 90°C under full load, while the 5600X is safe up to 95°C. That 88-90 GPU temperature might be too high for a 3090, though I'm not sure. Fluctuations of about 5-10°C are common. Your case has limited air intake, so more airflow could lower temps by roughly 20-25°C. Optimizing fan curves and tuning helps a lot.
