Ryzen 5800X experiencing heat issues and automatic shutdowns.
I recently purchased an Asus Prime X570-pro and a Ryzen 5800X for my computer. But whenever I attempt to use it, it powers off within three minutes due to overheating. I’m using a Corsair H100iV2 cooler, though I’m unsure if that’s enough.
Inspect the mount, the pump's RPM is listed near the CPU fan and appears to be operating normally.
I also had issues with the AIO_PUMP before, so I just connected it again to see if it works. The temperatures keep going up.
I’d confirm the correct standoffs and verify the mounting pressure.
I’m using just two pieces here—one in the top left and one in the bottom right. These are the mounting parts I’m relying on. I’m limiting it to two because I received the cooler from a friend back in 2017, before AM4 mounting became common. By doing it this way, we managed to fit it in.
It seems the installation isn<|pad|>, it wasn't done right. A simple test would be to place the PC on its back and gently press on the AIO. You're not applying enough mounting force. The AM4 socket was released in 2016.
