Your setup is solid with a strong GPU and good display. The 5700X would likely boost performance, especially for gaming and multitasking. It’s worth considering if you plan heavy workloads or future upgrades.

I would choose the 5700X3D instead of the 5700X.

You mentioned having an XYZ CPU and XYZ GPU, but your concern seems to be about performance rather than lag. If you're experiencing low FPS, upgrading the CPU might be worth considering. Have fun exploring your powerful setup!

I think the FPS you're expecting isn't matching what DLSS delivers, especially in 4K. It seems performance settings might be set too low, making it feel like you're missing out. That could be a misunderstanding.

I aim to save costs. In my country, 5700x3D is 50% pricier than 5700x.

I believe a 5700X is a solid choice since it offers 8 cores compared to 6 on the 5500, plus some extra fast cores. The 3D cache won’t make much difference at 4K—it’s more relevant for CPU-heavy tasks. You might need a better cooling solution anyway. What do others recommend?

I'm looking at the 5500 stock, planning to sell it and buy the Thermalright Peerless Assassin 120 for $52 in my country. Is this a solid move? Or would you prefer alternatives? I'm willing to consider cheaper options if needed.

The Phantom Spirit is a great cooler—its price is even more appealing.

A better CPU could help because the 5500 model only offers 16MB of L3 memory.

It mainly displays in 1080p even though DLSS is enabled for 4K.
