The upcoming Ryzen 5000 series is set to launch soon, and opinions are mixed about its availability at first release. While some expect strong demand similar to GPUs, others suggest it might sell out quickly. It’s wise to wait for reviews before purchasing, especially if you're planning a build with both CPU and GPU components. For your project, consider the RDNA2 cards as an option, but ensure they match your system needs.

We don't really understand this. It depends, but if they outperform any Intel CPUs in gaming and workloads, demand will rise fast. If they fall short of expectations, they'll still be in demand, though not likely to sell out soon. That's just a guess.

I keep moving quickly toward my crystal ball. What’s the situation now? Can we estimate how many CPUs were made compared to bots or outlets? Do you actually need one right away? Just hold on—there’s really no major advantage in grabbing one on the first day. Or even worrying about it.

You're right, focusing on the obvious won't help much. It seems like Ryzen is already making the situation clear, and the market isn't responding as expected. Just keep an eye on things and hope for the best.

I find it funny whenever I see people asking about products that aren’t yet available to the public. My thought is that because of global challenges like the pandemic, supply might not match demand on launch day.

Come on now, obviously nobody knows. I was asking opinion of expectations, just like everyone expected the 3070 to sell out immediately. While I do not need one immediately, I would rather not be in a situation waiting until mid 2021 to get one just like the 3080.

You're probably thinking about getting an RTX 3060 (possibly with a Ti memory). The 3070 isn't too much, but it's better than your GTX 650 Ti Boost. Also, you're using ray tracing in Minecraft!
