You're looking for an affordable, older PC build. AMD offers integrated graphics options, but they differ from Ryzen 5 3600. The Ryzen 5000 series CPUs are newer, so you might not get the same performance. Intel remains a strong option, and you should compare both AMD and Intel graphics to see which suits your needs best.

AMD graphics outperforms Intel graphics when it comes to IGPS. We should expect a 5400G release soon.

Intel hasn't released any strong desktop APUs that match a LGA1200 motherboard setup I'm aware of. With AMD's offerings, they tend to be the latest generation, like the Zen+ and Zen2 variants, whereas the 2200G uses Zen while the 3200G is Zen+. There are some models in the 4000 series available, but they're mostly OEM-only. You might find a few options there.

But I mean an i5 10600 could be faster than a r5 3400, right? I’m just a bit confused about the AMD updates. Not every Ryzen is listed in the release notes, and not all GPUs are available yet... It seems like they’re doing this on purpose to keep things interesting or for another reason.

The 3400G functions similarly to a 3100/3300X but includes an integrated GPU. It offers four cores with eight threads and costs around $80 to $100 less than the 10600. Therefore, the 10600 performs better.

The 10600 features a higher clock speed and includes more cores compared to previous models.

Currently, Intel lacks strong iGPU options, whereas AMD's APUs lag behind in CPU design by one generation. The Zen 2 (Ryzen 3000 non-G CPU) APUs are primarily available through OEM partnerships. The model you mentioned, Ryzen 4X00G or similar, is likely an OEM-only variant.

Yes, adding two more cores and increasing the clock speed explains the extra cost of $80 to $100. However, the integrated graphics part doesn't match the one found in the 3400G model.

I don’t feel the need to purchase it either—mostly focused on prebuild systems.

Could possibly secure a deal from AliExpress? I think it’s unlikely you’ll find anything on the open market.
