I recently purchased a Ryzen 5 5600X to swap in for my Ryzen 5 3600, but today I installed it and nothing functioned properly. The screen remains blank, fans spin nonstop, and the CPU indicator stays on all the time. I upgraded to the latest BIOS that specifically mentions support for Ryzen 5000 Series CPUs released in October 2023. Everything works with my 3600 in the socket, but with the 5600X it doesn’t. The motherboard says Mobo: MSI X570 gaming edge Wi-Fi, RAM from Corsair Vengeance LPX 3200MHz DDR4, 2x 8GB sticks, a Corsair RM750x 750W fully modular PSU, and an XFX Radeon RX6800 graphics card. I noticed the CPU power plug wasn’t connected. Update: the CPU didn’t start at all.
