Among the 11700, only these selections were chosen, yet they seem limited. Both options appear to be weak decisions.

Discussing the remaining components, your budget, and your goals for the system would be useful. This comparison feels unusual—there are specific situations where the 5600G could make sense, while the 11700 seems less fitting.

The 5600G shines only when a GPU isn't present; otherwise, the 11700 offers superior performance. It delivers quicker processing and more cores with PCIe 4.0. Integrated video became a bigger challenge when GPUs were limited. Situations have evolved considerably, making it unnecessary to favor one over the other unless you're directly comparing two prebuilt units.

Both lack a viable upgrade route—AM4 is no longer supported, and opting for the 5600G isn’t a smart move either. That’s why neither is a good option.

AMD mentioned possibly arriving with more CPUs for the AM4 platform. The 5950x offers a stronger upgrade compared to the 11900k.

Why purchase the 5600g now? It turns out it's a loss overall. Just opt for the 5950x instead. Otherwise, you're wasting your money on the 5600g.

Personally, the Ryzen 5 5600 (nonx), 5700x, and 5900x are the best choices currently. I wouldn't pick the 5600g. Discrete graphics are plentiful these days.
