Hello! I'm preparing to purchase a PC with a Ryzen 5 5600 and an RX 6700 graphics card (non-XT). I have a few questions:

1. Does it really matter if I choose a B450 model instead of a B550?
2. What is the most affordable and reliable power supply you recommend for France?

Thank you!

Varies by board model. Within the same tier—like B450-A Pro versus B550-A Pro—the latter offers significantly better performance without a large price jump. Only around 100 euros past that point does B550 boards begin to match B450 quality. In practice, you probably don’t need a B550 for this build; it won’t noticeably boost gaming speeds. The main advantage of B550 is more advanced features and superior VRMs, giving you greater upgrade potential later. I’d recommend the B550 Gaming X V2 personally, but a B450 would suffice if you're budget-conscious, don’t want upgrades, or need minimal functionality.

Current cheapest options start at 650W+ (ideal for a 6700) and can be found here:

For the most affordable choice, the box-only model is the Cougar MX330, though a Fractal Focus G would be better.

Thank you! I haven't made any changes to the build yet. Let me know if you'd like adjustments.
