Ryzen 5 5500 problems
Ryzen 5 5500 problems
Would anyone understand why my CPU isn’t delivering the correct FPS? A pin from one of the side rows broke, yet everything still works fine. In Warzone it’s not ideal for the game, but it handles 60Hz at 1080p without issues. However, it struggles to keep up and often drops to around 40fps. When I watch videos, they can reach 100 frames. I’m also using a 2070 Super with 16GB RAM and a 3000, so I shouldn’t be having problems. Could the missing pin be the reason? I’m also using a B450-F II for MOBO with a clock speed of 4225 in BIOS.

for a closer look at the issue: run userbenchmark.com and share the link, e.g., https://www.userbenchmark.com/UserRun/28977730
undo any OC
the pin might appear as white, dark green, light blue, or dark yellow/orange, and the benchmark with oc is available here

I will reply again with the non-oc scores

memtest confirmed the latest findings, everything looks okay except the FPS issue. The RAM seems to be functioning normally, so I’ll take a look at the RAM. Thanks for all the support!
This should probably resolve the issue, but there’s a problem—it doesn’t boot if I recall how it was set up initially. The VGA light came on and everything was loud until I reset it. It only started working after switching to A1 and A2. I’ll try changing them to the recommended slots, though I’m not sure B2 will work. I’ll make adjustments once I’ve tried.
