Hi! From what you mentioned, the R5 3600 has a maximum RAM capacity, but there’s no specified minimum needed for it to function. You might want to check the manufacturer’s guidelines for exact requirements. Let me know if you need more details!
Best regards, baeni

4GB usually represents the smallest RAM sizes available, making it the baseline capacity supported. However, if you locate 2GB or even smaller modules, they might also fit. This doesn't imply you should opt for 4GB unless it meets your specific requirements. What matters most is choosing the amount that suits your computing tasks. Ideally, 8GB or higher is recommended.

It seems like you're suggesting a frequency of 2133mhz. Would you like to clarify or discuss this further?

The lowest DDR4 option is at least 4GB, unless you get something unusual from China. That’s the baseline. Windows actually sets the real minimum, not the hardware—you can’t run your system with insufficient memory.

Sorry about that. You're referring to RAM size, not speed. It's about 4GB or possibly 2GB as mentioned.

Great, thanks everyone! @BlueScope819 I’ll buy a 2x8GB 3200mh/z kit later, but I just need some temporary RAM right now. I’ll return it so it doesn’t have to be a big deal. I chose an 8GB 2666 mh/z unit for 30€ today. As I mentioned, it’s only for testing and not for regular use.
