Hey guys,
I’ve been testing my PC at 4.2 Ghz and it crashed during the R20 multicore benchmark. The single-core test was okay. After that, I lowered it to 4.1 Ghz, which also failed. Then I tried 4.0 Ghz and it worked. When I enable auto, it fluctuates between 4.175 and 4150 MHz during gaming and the R20 test.

How can I achieve stable overclock at 4.2 Ghz?
When playing PUBG with Auto at 4.175 Ghz (PBO), I get a maximum of 190 fps. Increasing the CPU to 4000 MHz gives a low score but still achieves up to 210 fps in PUBG.

Here’s my setup:
R5 3600
MSI x570 Gaming Edge Wifi
Corsair 16GB RAM @ 3.2Ghz
CM ML240L AIO Cooler
Rtx 2060
Seasonic 600W Gold

For those who mainly play games, don't overclock just the Ryzen master settings—it'll improve performance.

I understand this perspective.
Several tests indicate that in many situations the OC of the 3600 and 3600X units didn't significantly affect performance, possibly even causing instability. AMD managed to maximize core boost stability to avoid constant overclocking.

It's disappointing the feature isn't compatible with 2000 chips. I had to adjust the settings manually to get it to 4.1.
