He claims maximum temperature would increase right away. If cooler had proper contact, temperatures would have risen gradually, no matter the weather or fan movement. Edit: He also mentioned several times that the cooler was tested and is functioning correctly at the store.

You adjusted the CPU speed to 4.0 and voltage to 1.15, and it is now increasing more smoothly, beginning at 70 and rising gradually.
