Hey everyone, I've been facing some issues with my Ryzen 5 3600 lately. First, it keeps trying to overclock constantly, often reaching 1.4v and temperatures fluctuating between 41°C and 61°C depending on what the CPU needs. I usually have to adjust the BIOS settings manually to revert it to auto mode, but I can't seem to find a way to disable it. Second, my Ryzen Balanced Power Plan is missing. I've checked forums about this change and am trying to follow the instructions, though I'm still confused. I also attempted an update via Ryzen Master, but nothing came up. The only fix I've made so far is installing a new air cooler. Any advice or help would be really appreciated.

Specs: Ryzen 5 3600 Powercolor RX 580 Asus TUF b450M Plus Gaming 4x4 GB HyperX 2666 MHz Corsair CV550 TeamGroup GX1 256GB SSD Seagate Barracuda 1TB

40 to 60 degrees is acceptable. Ryzen can be a bit unpredictable with temperatures since it tends to increase a lot. Keep it on auto and watch temps during heavy use. If you're below 90 (and 80 if your cooler is better), it's okay—idle temps aren't a big concern. Also, using the balanced power plan in Windows works just as well as the Ryzen processor.

I used to see steady temperatures around 40-48°C before, with cores not getting as hot as they are now (they stayed under 1000 mHz during idle and browsing, but now jump to 3000+ mHz without any reason). I’m still unsure what’s happening in the BIOS because it keeps trying to turn on overclocking.
