It seems unusual for the CPU voltage to fluctuate so widely on YouTube using Firefox with AIDA 64. Those spikes could indicate instability or overheating. Prolonged high voltages might damage components over time. Check system health and ensure proper cooling.

Yeah, I'm okay with what I know. I'm facing similar issues with voltage here, even though I understand PC building a lot.

Absolutely, everything checks out :0. If the voltage remains high under heavy use—such as during a benchmark—worth considering further. Otherwise, you're all set.

Additionally, I observed that gaming typically runs around 1.380 or 1.416 volts. If the readings during play match those seen when using Firefox in browsing, it suggests those levels might actually be even higher during gaming because gaming demands significantly more power.

you can observe this behavior in the discussion on reddit. when the system isn't busy, the cpu tends to use more voltage while drawing less current—likely for better efficiency. under heavy workloads, voltage should drop and current rise if you run demanding tasks like cinebench to ensure stable performance.

I checked a few games previously, and the maximum I observed was around 1.440 volts.

Uncertain about this feature, I don’t even recognize it or know if it’s active.

Precision boost overdrive essentially acts like an auto OC for the CPU, which I mentioned earlier. Try running more demanding tasks or benchmarks to see the improvement.
