The listed max RAM speed for Ryzen 5 2600 is 2993 MHz, yet many suggest using 3600 MHz. This is because the recommended frequency depends on your motherboard and system configuration. If your setup supports it, going up to 3600 MHz can improve performance. It will likely work if your hardware allows higher speeds.

3600 seems tough to reach with a 2600. Go for 3200 or 3000 instead. 2933 is the official limit, but you can push it higher with overclocking or XMP settings.

Operating MSi X470 Gaming Pro with Ryzen 5 2600 and 4*G Skill F4-3200C16-8GVKB. The setup began with 2*G Skill F4-3200C16-8GVKB and functioned smoothly at 3200MHz. An interesting observation is that after adding another 16GB, reaching a total of 32GB, the system caps at 2933MHz despite the CPU supporting higher speeds. The reason behind this limitation isn't clear yet.
