Ryzen 5 1600X running at 2.2GHz despite issues
I have a Ryzen 5 1600X stuck at 2.2GHz. I don’t know why it’s stuck, but my motherboard is a Gigabyte A320M-S2H with the latest BIOS update F43B. I upgraded to F42 in the hope it would help, but it didn’t work. No one has any suggestions on how to fix it properly. I’ve set Windows to Performance mode.
Adjust the Windows configuration for a balanced experience. Look into BIOS for manual overclocking options (possibly underclocking in your situation). Applying the BIOS default settings might be beneficial.
It seems the motherboard might be limiting performance. Check the temperatures and ensure the Windows Power Plant settings prioritize speed.
Windows power settings show idle performance at 30 degrees Celsius, saving 3.6GHz. BIOS reports 3.6GHz but doesn't clarify the cause.
