During the process of increasing the clock speed of my Ryzen 1600x, the system starts up successfully, yet the CPU-Z display indicates a multiplier value of 22, which is significantly different from the configured settings.

When attempting to overclock my Ryzen 1600X, it boots successfully but CPU-Z displays a multiplier of 22 which is significantly higher than my configuration. Disable C6, AMD Cool and Quiet in the BIOS, and ensure High Performance Mode is enabled in Windows.

The device didn't function properly even after changing settings in BIOS. It would repeatedly cycle on and off before starting up.

Not really, sometimes the BIOS doesn't choose my SSD as the boot drive.

Not at all but sometimes the BIOS doesn't allow me to choose my SSD as a Boot Drive. Can you share a picture of the BIOS menu so I can check your settings?

Omaxoo7 :
Would you like me to send you the settings you’re interested in? Sorry. Check out this video I made, it’s about an MSI Mortar B350m with a Tomahawk, using an R7 1700 and 16GB of G.Skill tri-de z RGB RAM. Don’t copy it, just compare to see if your settings match. For now, keep your RAM at its default speed of 2133MHz.

Also, are your BIOS settings current?
