Ryzen 5 1600 stock OC (help)
I adjusted my Ryzen 5 to 3.8 GHZ with 1.375 volts. It seemed fine until overheating (80°C) and some games would crash. I lowered the clock to 3.6GHZ at 1.35000. Could you clarify what a safe clock is and suggest an appropriate setting?
That depends on the chips. You should try different voltages and frequencies while keeping the most stable settings. I've noticed that 3.6 1.35 works well. I'm looking for lower temperatures, but it's also hot in my area and my room gets warm easily. I can stay around 75°C at maximum load (AMDBench).
You'll require a tailored cooler for increased clock speeds. Are you referring to a custom water loop setup or a branded option such as Noctua, Corsair, NZXT, or Be Quiet?
parani :
A decent aio with 240mm radiator is fine .but if u wanna try custom loops ,go for it (not the bang for buck)
I've heard the NZXT Kraken X62 is decent, scared of pump failures. Anything on it?
I don't have any prior experience with them, but they should work fine. Even my Deepcool 120mm AIO has lasted for over a year and a half.
