I don't have specific details about the Ryzen 4000's socket compatibility. You should check AMD's official documentation or contact their support for confirmation on whether these CPUs use AM4 or require a new motherboard.

The 4000 model works with current AM4 boards, but the decision to update the BIOS depends on the manufacturer.

Them being AM4 is pretty much confirmed. OK no one said it jet but 98% sure. If you also have a decent mobo it will get updated with support for the newer chips

Do we have an idea of the release timeline for AMD's upcoming chip? I intend to start another build soon after they announce their latest CPU and GPU.

I'm confirming this request since I plan to purchase the x570 instead of the B450, ensuring it receives updates.

It mentions the current year appears at the end, similar to E4.

Sure, I'll keep it simple. Just a bit of time away then, right? Not because of the new GPU.
