Hello everyone, I wanted to check if anyone could assist with a problem I'm facing on my computer. To give you some context, I've encountered difficulties with BIOS updates for my STRIX x570-E model after 1407, which often led to unexpected black screen reboots—sometimes instantly, sometimes after several hours. I've experimented with different RAM modules from the QVL list, swapped out a 650W Seasonic power supply for an 850W Seasonic, reinserted the existing RAM (which is a Samsung B-DIMM), upgraded the GPU, and thoroughly verified all connections, reformatted the drive, and reinstalled Windows. Temperature readings from HWInfo have remained normal, and CPU temperatures stayed below 65°C during gaming, with DDR4 temps hovering between 38-42°C.

However, after updating to BIOS version 2802, I resolved the reboot issue (hopefully). It seems the problem might have been linked to random memory timings that my BIOS attempted to assign. Using a DRAM calculator, I adjusted some timings to 3733, which appeared stable—unlike the default 3600 settings for my B-DIMM, which often caused instability.

Currently, I'm seeing a WHEA-Logger error in Event Viewer. The log indicates it's not an actual error, but it keeps appearing intermittently. Someone on another Reddit thread recommended disabling Fast Boot in both BIOS and Windows 10. I've tried that, but the WHEA errors persist, occurring rapidly one after another. Could these errors still be related to timing issues?

I've increased the RAM voltage to 1.45V to see if it resolves the problem, and I'm following the recommended timings from DRAM calculator (including ProcODT). I also adjusted my SOC LLC setting in Asus BIOS to Level 2, which maintains a stable voltage around 1.087V. Raising it to Level 3 keeps it near 1.1V according to HWInfo. I ran Memtest86 and TestMem5 with the Extreme@anta777 profile, both completed successfully.

Despite these efforts, I'm still curious about the WHEA errors. Given my history of issues, I wonder if my 3800x model is affected by a bug, especially since it works fine on BIOS 1407. I appreciate any advice you might have. Thanks in advance!
