I refreshed the chipset to the latest AMD version and started the Ryzen Balanced plan. In games my temps stay relatively stable, but idle temps climb noticeably—steady around 50°C–60°C, occasionally spiking to 67°C. This happens while just running basic tasks like checking system info and moving the mouse with minimal CPU load. I switched it back to Windows Balanced performance, which seems to keep idle voltage between 1.0V and 1.2V, and in-game between 1.2V and 1.4V. The Ryzen plan suddenly jumps from 1.0V to 1.4V without warning. This might explain the higher heat output. I haven’t tested lowering it to 1.2V yet, but I wonder if it could affect performance or stability.
