Use a PCIe add-in card to obtain the required I/O without replacing the motherboard. It provides four USB 3.1 ports over PCIe 3.0 slots, compatible with an X570 board on its chipset lanes or any other PCIe expansion card.

This was my fallback option if I couldn't locate a suitable alternative board for the Tomahawk Max. I'm not currently using it, but I'm planning an upgrade from my B350, which I've already used with a CPU upgrade. It's just to test first—functioning well until heavy usage. Regarding the x570, it seems you're curious about its compatibility. From the B450 Tomahawk Max manual (attached), it should support at least a 2.0 x1 USB card with the 3700X chipset, which has 16+4+4 pins. I have the Rosewill RC-508, a 2.0 1x slot, and I'm checking if that works as well.
