Connect the 8-pin terminal, skipping the 4-pin. Under typical conditions or when processing heavy tasks, no processor will draw more than the safe capacity of this 8-pin link.

Connect to one of them if you're unable to connect both. For the best reliability and power consistency, use the 8-pin option.
