I followed the steps in the BIOS, but noticed the range on the right side changes. It mentioned a default of 39 when that feature was enabled, which I adjusted to 58. After updating it, logging back into Windows showed an increase in tRC value.

That sounds really unusual! I’m not very experienced with MSI BIOS, but it’s definitely something interesting.

It could be due to outdated firmware or BIOS from MSI. They aren't always recognized for the top BIOS experience, haha.

I recall a discussion on forums a while ago where someone faced similar issues with their RAM. We thought the BIOS was faulty, and others on Reddit shared complaints about it. It turned out the BIOS/UEFI was the root cause. We couldn’t fix it ourselves, except perhaps by contacting MSDS for assistance.

Apologies for archiving this old discussion and assuming the original poster resolved it. This could assist another user. MSI requires DRAM timings in hex format rather than decimal, as noted on the BIOS screen in the side panel. An online dec-hex tool shows dec 56 equals hex 38. If you input 38 into BIOS, CPU-Z should verify your tRC is now 56. This worked for me too.
