They said Ryzen balanced is almost outdated now, needing at least 90% performance while balanced mode should only use 5%.

They said it’s nearly outdated and recommend using the default balanced option. Yet even after switching to a custom plan, the clock speeds remain consistent around 3.9–4.0.

The listed states don’t always reflect what the processor actually does in Ryzen Balanced. The power management at the hardware level works exceptionally well for Ryzen models, so letting it handle the processor is a good idea. Others have reported similar problems adjusting power settings on 2000 series Ryzen units.

Using AIDA64 or CineBench, the highest speed I observed was around 75. Clock speeds remained consistent during those tests and didn’t increase beyond their baseline.

The chip at stock should run at 4350mhz on a single core. Other cores operate in different power modes. 60c seems too high for idle. Something needs to be adjusted.
