You managed to buy an Intel B580 at a good price, but it didn’t fit your GPU needs. Your CPU is a R7 2700 on an X470 Aorus Ultra, which works fine, though you’re considering upgrading due to performance issues. You’re unsure which AM4 CPU to choose and want options under $100, excluding x3D chips. The 5600 or 5700 seem like reasonable choices based on early reviews.

A 5600 or 5700 offers a solid improvement compared to the R7 2700, while the Intel B580 clearly benefits from quicker processors for smoother performance. Check it out!

5600, 5600X, 5700X or 5800X is acceptable. 5700 does not apply. Remember to turn on rebar in your BIOS for proper function.
