Biostar isn’t the best choice either, but Ryzen coolers really stand out, even for mild overclocking. I’d consider a 2600 at least. Don’t spend money on an old and weak processor just because it’s cheap—it might be a waste.

They charge significantly more for minimal returns since OP is already cutting costs. The 1600 isn’t a low-value item—it’s close to the 2600.

Thanks! I believe buying the Ryzen 1600 and B450M S2H with GTX1660 would work fine—no bottlenecks expected. The GTX1660 supports adaptive sync.
