ryzen 1600 safe overclocks ?
ryzen 1600 safe overclocks ?
all intel cpus are capable of reaching 4.5ghz (plus a small margin) with a maximum of 1.28v. my ryan 1600 is already optimized to 3.825ghz using auto voltage at 1.3v, which seems reasonable compared to intel. i’m considering keeping it for 4-5 years, but i’m unsure because ryan technology is still emerging. could it handle that voltage safely? i’ve seen it run at 3.9ghz at 1.325v without issues, so it might be fine for the next four years.
AMD suggests using 1.35v, though the safest limit is 1.45v. Exceeding it might reduce your CPU's lifespan. A range of 1.3 to 1.35 works well. I only reached 3.7ghz without hitting 1.35v on my 1600 with a RAM max of 2800 (3200xmp), which means you got a decent chip.

you're checking the settings, under 1.38 is good for the CPU life, thanks. i can try:
3.825 - auto
3.900 - 1.33
3.950 - 1.375v
before the cpu overclock you turned on axmp for ram in uefi bios . my ram is 3000mhz, xmp1: 2666 and xmp2: 2800. i manually increased it to 3200 with 1.360v. but this has to do with the cpu overclock?
