Ryzen 1300x overclock 4.0 ghz
As the title indicates, I've boosted my Ryzen 1300x to 4.0 Ghz at 1.4 v. After an hour of gaming at 95% load, the temperatures reached 74°C. I'm curious if this high voltage is safe—only during full load, and at idle it's around 1.4 volts, while normal use drops to about 1.35v. I'm very new to overclocking and would appreciate any advice.
Best regards, Philip
1.4V remains within the safe limits, 1.45 is the upper limit. 74 is a suitable temperature as well, but I plan to lower the voltage while keeping 4G active if possible. It comes down to comfort. For me, it should be okay.
