I frequently encounter significant performance drops in Ready or Not and similar titles. Despite having my MSI afterburner active, the CPU and GPU usage remains at around 50%. I've checked benchmarks and noticed the game runs smoothly with a RX6800XT at full graphics settings. It seems the issue might be related to storage rather than hardware. My PC specifications are an Intel i7-6700X, RX6800XT graphics card, 2TB HDD, 3200 RAM.

You're looking for an SSD, but the issue lies with your slow HDD. Swapping in an SSD would be the greatest improvement you could do.

You might face this problem when your system doesn't start or load games from a PCIe 3.0 M.2 SSD.
