I'm attempting to link my PC to the TV using a 15-meter HDMI 1.4 cable. It seems this setup isn't functioning properly. I've opted for the HDMI 1.4 version since I don't have a longer 10-meter HDMI 2.0 cable and 1080p resolution meets my needs. I tried using an HDMI 2.0 cable and adjusted the resolution to 1080p, but it still didn't connect. My PC runs Windows 10, and the TV is a Sony KD-55X80J with an Ugreen 15m HDMI 1.4 adapter. The Asrock B450 Pro4-F, Ryzen 5 3600, and Gigabyte Rx590 are all up to date with the latest drivers. My cable appears to work with my old monitor and even my previous Mibox device. The issue arises when the TV is in standby mode—Windows detects a default resolution of 4K60Hz, but I switch it to 1080p60Hz. When I power on the TV and connect the PC screen, both devices lose connection. The TV shows "HDMI no input" and disappears from the display settings. However, connecting via HDMI 2.0 works smoothly, outputting 4K60Hz without issues. Using a 1080p monitor with a 15m cable also delivers clean output with no lag or distortion. Connecting to the TV through the Mibox 2 adapter still functions properly, maintaining 1080p60Hz even when switching to 4K30Hz.
