Hello. I'm having trouble with my 7700XT (nitro+). It's paired with an I5 12400F and 16GB DDR4 RAM. My PSU is 600W, which is below the recommended 700W. On an AC Odyssey, I see 65-80 fps at ultra settings for 1080p, but benchmarks on YouTube say 100-120 fps under those conditions. Also, my card draws only 90-110W. Could this be related? My PSU has one PCIe cable that splits into two connectors—might that be the issue? I'm also unsure if the card is being undervolted. I plan to upgrade to a 750W PSU but would appreciate your advice since I'm not very experienced with GPU power. Thanks.

If the card requires two power connectors, you must use two separate GPU cables; otherwise, the card won’t function correctly and might get damaged. The card will typically shut down to safeguard itself. However, this could also harm the GPU or power supply. The card is essentially operating at half power. Also, if your specifications differ from the benchmark, it won’t be possible to make a fair comparison.

I searched for reference points with comparable CPU and GPU specs. I know the risk of harming the GPU, but this PSU lacks an alternative cable. I plan to purchase a replacement.
