Details: Processor: AMD Athlon 3000G, Graphics: Sapphire RX 580 8GB, Motherboard: ASUS Prime A320M-K, RAM: 8GB ADATA at 2666MHz (single channel), Power Supply: 500W unit with two 6+2 PCIe ports, Storage: 256GB SSD plus 512GB HDD.

Setup: Installed RX 580 two weeks prior; performed optimally. GPU fans operate normally at idle and activate above ~60°C. Recently, display signal vanished. System functions with integrated graphics; older PCIe-only GPU succeeded.

Actions Taken:
- Confirmed PSU connections, especially the 6-pin PCIe port.
- Used included SATA-to-6-pin adapter with another PSU.
- Tested with two PSUs: one 500W main, one 450W old unit.
- Verified BIOS settings—primary display set to PCIe, integrated GPU disabled.
- Tested alternative GPU in same slot; it worked fine.
- Performed CMOS reset and reinserted GPU multiple times.
- Disconnected peripherals and booted without them.

Observations:
- RX 580 heats up outside motherboard but stays cool inside PCIe slot.
- When seated, GPU fans run normally and display signal returns.
- Older GPU in identical slot performed well.
- No visible damage on contacts; slight warmth when external power used.

Questions:
- Might the issue stem from insufficient power delivery despite the 500W PSU?
- Is the GPU dead, or could it be failing silently?
- Could the SATA adapter have caused harm?
- Are there further steps I should try to restore display functionality?

Help needed: Clarification on whether a power supply fault exists, confirmation of GPU health, and advice on next troubleshooting actions. Your support would be invaluable!
