Hello,
I noticed an issue with my XFX RX 580 8GB and Asus Prime B760M-K setup. While checking the BIOS, I clicked "Load Optimized Defaults" and after rebooting, received a specific error code with a long beep followed by three short beeps. Because the GPU display was active, I had to change its BIOS setting to mining mode silently. Now I’m wondering how to safely return it to gaming mode without damaging anything. My GPU has a dual BIOS switch, but I’m unsure if it can be flipped while powered on.
Thank you.

Welcome to the forums, newcomer! When you adjust the BIOS to defaults, navigate to the motherboard BIOS settings and check if CSM is activated. If it is, turn it off and observe the changes.

Regarding the BIOS version on your motherboard, what version are you currently using?

Which version of XFX RX 580 8GB is available?
Boot using backup BIOS.
Swap the bios switch.
Update to the correct BIOS for your card.
Check if techpowerup offers a suitable BIOS for this model.

Thank you for your reply! I attempted to turn off CSM but the problem continues. I’m also uncertain about the precise BIOS version for my motherboard. How can I verify it and make any needed updates? Appreciate your assistance!
