I purchased an rx5700xt for $50 in a non-functional state after a power failure. It operated smoothly for about six months until yesterday, while I was using Forza (Horizon 5) with near-perfect performance. The system restarted multiple times, leaving only one monitor active and the other displaying a distorted aspect ratio and low resolution. I applied all available drivers and updates, cleaned and reshaped the card, but Windows failed to recognize the display. The computer reported no GPU, despite having one. Additionally, I experienced strange BIOS artifacts and a black screen whenever I moved the mouse. The solution was connecting the first monitor to the built-in graphics card. For hardware details, see the provided link.

It wasn't a strange problem, it seems like it just gave up and stopped working. You paid $50 for a card that was clearly faulty, but you got six months to use it. I’d say appreciate the time you had and move forward.

Use the traditional approach of baking it in an oven: https://www.overclockers.com/the-oven-tr...h-an-oven/ If other methods fail, the card is beyond saving unless you're willing to tackle electronic repairs.
