Your performance is low because your CPU and GPU are only using a small portion of their capacity. To improve, consider upgrading to a more powerful processor or optimizing your software usage.

I had some exposure to Rust, though it was mainly a CPU-intensive project. It seems there might be thermal constraints with the R5 5500, leading to reduced clock speeds. The R5 5500 isn't very powerful compared to the R5 5600, since it's essentially a 5600G with the iGPU turned off, resulting in lower boost clocks and a smaller L3 cache. I would have used monitoring tools like HWinfo64 and shared the screenshots afterward.

Checking your storage setup: Are you using an HDD? What amount of RAM do you have available? Also, are your pagefiles stored on an HDD?

It's a solid performance for your Ryzen 5 5500, running at 4GHz is quite good for everyday tasks.

You have a 500GB SSD and 16GB RAM running at 3200MHz.

You're asking for more details about the system performance and hardware setup. Could you share the lag duration, average frame rate, and whether the slowdown occurs far from other devices? Also, please send a screenshot of your main window on Zentimings so I can better understand the RAM configuration and overall speed.
