I purchased a new laptop without an SSD. I plan to add a new SSD and install Windows 10. I need to do this without losing my licensed Windows. How can I proceed?

This feature will turn on once you reinstall Windows. For added security, you can try the following link: https://support.microsoft.com/en-ca/help...are-change. However, it's not required.

You can purchase Win 10 at a nearly cost-free price on eBay and through Keseller sites.

Your Windows 10 product key is saved in your laptop's UEFI (BIOS). After installing Windows 10 from the Microsoft website, the system will recognize your stored key in the BIOS and automatically activate once connected.
