Hello, your PC is currently utilizing 40GB of your 64GB RAM. In Task Manager it doesn’t show any process using that much memory, yet it still indicates over 60% utilization. This is puzzling given how new the system is and the problems you’ve faced since installation. I’m frustrated because I built this setup about two months ago and have only encountered issues like random game crashes after just a few minutes of playtime, even after numerous driver updates and reinstalls. This situation has become frustrating enough to seek advice from the community. Any assistance would be greatly appreciated!

Your specifications:
- OS: Windows 10 x86 (32-bit) or x64?
- Original OS version?
- Did you install Windows as an OEM or a retail product?
- System age at installation (~2 months)?
- CPU model: Intel Core i9-13900K
- Graphics card: ASUS ROG Strix GeForce RTX 4090 OC
- Motherboard: ASUS ROG Strix Z790-E Gaming WiFi 6E LGA 1700
- Power supply: CORSAIR HX1500i Desktop

Hello, welcome to Windows. The system isn't accurately tracking RAM usage. Chrome might be showing 1,900MB, but it could actually be using around 36,000MB. Try closing Chrome to verify the correct amount.

You just tested it and it ended up at 35 GB out of 64 GB.

The simplest next step is to halt each process one by one until the memory usage decreases, or use a tool named Process Explorer to inspect which program has consumed 30GB of RAM.

I rebooted your PC and it returned to a 9 GB idle state. It seems everything is functioning similarly now, but I’m not sure what caused the change.

Click the column and pick select columns. Choose one or more additional memory settings. This helps you understand how memory is utilized further within processes.
