Hello everyone,
As discussed in my earlier posts, I'm still quite unfamiliar with computer parts and configurations. I've seen some similar discussions but none match the details I have (such as temperature or motherboard setup).
My concern is whether I can overclock my i5 3570K with the stock cooler and the MSI Z77A-G45 board. Right now, my CPU is around 51°C, and I've been told it could potentially reach up to 65°C or more since it's an Ivy Bridge chipset.
Appreciate any guidance!

As soon as you install the CPU, it tends to overheat quickly, so you'll need a superior cooler than the standard one to maintain optimal temperature. But you can still attempt to monitor the temperatures.

When the CPU is overclocked, it heats up quickly and requires a superior cooler than the standard one to maintain optimal temperature. Checking the temperatures is a good idea. What temperature ranges are considered normal for a CPU?
