I adjusted the core voltage to adaptive at 1.160v with a x44 multiplier and everything functioned perfectly. The motherboard added 15mV beyond that value. RAM operates at 2666 MHz with block at 100 MHz, and the SA is configured with a 50mV offset for all other settings. Cooling uses NH-D14, reaching temperatures up to 75°C. Idle temperatures stay between 29-30°C per core and 38-40°C for the package. I set a power cap of 180 watts because AVX instructions push it past 220 watts. Under full AVX load, temperatures climbed to 90°C instantly. The limit was fine-tuned to stay just above the non-AVX full load of 176 watts, maintaining AVX temps at 75°C and keeping the CPU clock at 4GHz with exact 180W limits. During that specific load, all cores dropped to 4GHz and stayed within the safe range. This is my first 8-core setup, a batch version. My previous 5930K ran at 1.23V and 4.4GHz, achieving 3836 in CB20—about a 1000-point improvement over the same speed with just two extra cores!

The connection between assembly location and overclocking seems weak; the timing date likely plays a more significant role in silicon performance.

I'm sure it's not a J batch, and I'm running a fairly consistent 4.5GHz overclock with a significant boost in core clock. I'm currently at 1.325v and haven't considered lowering it yet.

I spent the entire day playing games at 1:16 PM, age 44, and everything ran smoothly without any issues.

Used a cooled setup with an H100i I recently acquired.
