“Right, so I’m trying to understand why my high-end graphics card isn't performing consistently when I play games. I’ve noticed that while others in-game are maintaining a steady 80 frames per second, I frequently drop down to just 48 – which is really frustrating. It’s become a persistent problem, and I'd appreciate some help getting to the bottom of it.
I’ve included a screenshot of my system specs below.
Interestingly, in games like DayZ, I’m usually seeing frame rates well over 100, typically between 80 and 110.
I’ve already tried a few troubleshooting steps – I've disabled Adaptive Sync both in my monitor settings and within the game itself. Also, switching to Nvidia control panel settings instead of using the in-game options gave me a slight improvement, but not by much.
Basically, I’m hoping someone can walk me through some potential causes and perhaps help me find a solution. My GPU utilization tends to hover between 40 and 69%, while my CPU usage is usually around 30 to 40%.”
Could you tell me what the temperature of your computer’s processor and graphics card is like when you're playing games?
That's looking pretty solid – perhaps a little on the conservative side, though. Could you tell me what the GPU and CPU usage looks like when you’re playing games? Also, could you share your full hardware specs with me? Please include the make and model of your power supply unit as well.
