Hello. I'm currently attempting to increase the clock speed of my A8 7650K, but my motherboard's BIOS doesn't support voltage control, so adjusting the multiplier causes the voltage to rise excessively. I'm considering using AMD Overdrive to reduce the voltage, which seems to work so far, but I'm worried about its safety. Should I stick to setting the multiplier in BIOS and then apply a different voltage at startup from AMD, or should I go all-in with overclocking via Overdrive? It's frustrating that the voltage control is disabled; ideally, they should have allowed undervolting. My CPU's core voltage is close to 1.4 at stock, and I'm not worried about temperatures. With two case fans and an aftermarket CPU, gaming keeps me under 40°C.

That is acceptable. Proceed gradually and test to ensure stability.
