It works fine too. The 64-bit CD was installed, and all other info shows it's 32-bit.

its fine but if you have the option of a 64 bit program or a 32 bit go with the 64bit

All 64-bit operating systems work well with 32-bit programs. The main issue lies with drivers—some 32-bit ones don’t install properly on 64-bit systems.

Unless it requires significant memory or needs specific 64-bit capabilities, using 32-bit programs on 64-bit platforms is acceptable. Suitable for apps like photo editors, vector tools, video editors, encoders, and web browsers under heavy load. In short, anything demanding a lot of RAM may gain performance by switching to 64-bit.
