Run Ryzen 3700X at 4.3GHz with 3600c15 RAM
I operate in override mode. My processor runs at 4.2ghz continuously with 1.36v. When checking your stock CPU, the voltage will exceed 1.4v. According to CPU-Z, my vcore stays between 1.36 and 1.368. I understand the 3700x offers better binned CPUs compared to the 3600, but the vcore seems a bit low for stability. Raising it slightly should bring you to around 4.5ghz.
Hey everyone! Thanks for joining the chat. I didn’t set up an account just for this, but I thought you might find it helpful to lower the voltage a bit. I managed to get my board running smoothly at around 4.3GHz with only 1.28V. I haven’t pushed to 4.4GHz or dialed the voltage even lower yet. The CPU feels much cooler under these conditions—though I’m not worried about hitting the 4450MHz limit. My setup looks like this: Motherboard x470 Aorus Ultra gaming (no Vcore, just +180 offset), RAM Gskills FlareX 3200MHz CAS 14.
