It runs at 4.1/4.2 under just the BCLK change, keeping RAM usage stable but heating up a lot. It doesn’t respond well to lowering voltage, and I haven’t found any other adjustments that help.

I'm realizing more than just a basic fix is needed...

Expect highs around the 60s to low 70s, but your 360mm loop setup is key—don’t focus too much on temperatures while running. If it hits 80°C, you won’t have much room for overclocking. Older Intel processors generally struggle above 80°C and won’t gain much from higher voltage. Yes, you’ll need a dual tower air cooler or better water cooling to keep things stable. When pushing to higher voltages, the stock cooler often can’t handle more than 80W.

Sounds like the NH-D14 reached its limit.

They're suggesting a dual tower air cooler instead. It seems unnecessary to use water since the performance won't justify it, especially with smaller chips like 32nm that run efficiently. I tried an X5675 with a 1.45 or 1.5v core on an NH-D15S—it handled 76C without issues.
