I'm troubleshooting your PC setup. It powers on for 5 seconds then shuts off. You've tried resetting RAM, installing new RAM, swapping GPUs, changing the power supply, and removing the CMOS battery. The motherboard shows a green light, but it still doesn’t work. Could someone with more experience explain why this happens?

Your PC shuts down after just five seconds because the heat isn't being effectively moved from the processor to the cooling component. If the temperature rises too fast, it can cause damage and trigger an automatic shutdown to protect the hardware. Using the correct thermal paste is important for proper heat transfer.

I’ll attempt it since I just placed the motherboard in the case.

Yeah, I tried, but setting up the cooler was a bit tricky, which might explain why
