I recently received an MSI Ventus 3x RXT 5070 Ti. Everything works until I install its drivers, after which my computer slows down significantly and becomes unusable. I’ve double-checked the hardware installation. I’m using a B660M DS3H ax motherboard that only supports PCIe 4.0. This is the main concern I have, aside from the possibility that the GPU itself might be faulty, though I know PCIe compatibility could help. Do you know what could be causing this issue? Have others experienced similar problems with different GPUs?

You installed via the NVIDIA app and performed a complete reset. It worked initially, but after the driver update it started failing. Rolling back to the previous driver might resolve the issue since the new version is quite recent.

I just added the Nvidia App and it worked for a couple of hours before random crashes began. Fixed by removing only that app.

I cleaned the drivers three times using DDU and then reinstalled them, and it worked consistently whether or not I used the NVIDIA app.

Seems like a nostalgic post from a long time ago, probably about old AMD driver discussions.

Yes, Intel was still active around two years prior to your question.
