Is there dust inside the PCIe port? Are there any signs of wear on the PCIe connector for the 4080? Which specific EVGA Supernova model are you referring to?

It's tough to judge without checking the hardware. I think there could be a power problem. On your PSU, look for a label showing the wattage and amperage each rail supports. Ensure the PCI-e connectors for your GPU are connected to the strongest rails, and avoid any other devices on those lines. High-end Nvidia cards can cause sudden power surges; if the PSU trips due to this, the system may restart. If nothing works, try testing the GPU on another machine or using a different PSU to confirm the issue. Good luck!

Begin checking CPU pins and socket for any bent pins or foreign objects. Capture photos as well.

I handled it successfully. The issue was related to the power supply, not the PSU. It's the 3x8 pin on the bull that the 4080 uses—specifically two of them. That fixed two dead adapters and introduced a better style adapter, which now works properly. Thanks to everyone who offered suggestions; it’s a solid system overall.

It looked like a power problem, nice work fixing it—such a solid build! I haven’t encountered anything like this adapter before.
