I've had my GPU for roughly two months now and have noticed some unusual behavior with its RGB lighting. The colors appear to function, but only under specific conditions. When the PC is idle, it stays off until a strong enough and prolonged load lasts about 4-5 minutes. After that, the lights come on briefly before returning to idle. Once the system shuts down and wakes up, the lighting fades away quickly. It also turns off if I put the GPU to sleep and then wake it again. This seems like a rare and tricky issue that hasn't been reported widely. I'm hoping someone can help explain what might be causing this.

Download and execute DDU in safe mode, then reinstall the required driver. If unsuccessful, shut down your system and disconnect the power cable. Reconnect your GPU and power cords again. If problems persist, consider using a CMOS reset.

I've tested all three options, but none appeared effective.

Have you checked for another PCIe port? Give it a try.

I'm not sure if that's the main concern. The card is secondhand from a friend, who mentioned it had an issue before too.

You mentioned having it for two months, which is notable. Are you still covered under the warranty? If yes, I’d consider sending a return authorization.

Sorry, forgot to mention that. Idk, I just wanted to avoid RMA if I can, especially considering I don't have a secondary GPU to fall back on while I wait for the RMA to complete. I feel like it's just the shroud that's the issue, and that's why I'm hesitant to return the entire card for something small like that. And I mean if there isn't any other way to go about it, then I guess I'll just let it go, but I was hoping there was something I could do personally.

It's worth mentioning this: After doing that DDU, my GPU no longer lights up, even when under stress, which might mean the problem isn't related to the shroud.
